About GirlTime Getaways
GirlTime Getaways are weekends filled with lots of fun surprises, mystery destinations, and merriment. It is a chance for you and your girlfriends, sisters, in-laws, moms, daughters or other important women in your life to get away from it all.  Leaving all the planning, organizing and details up to someone else for a change.

At GirlTime Getaways, we know that women are the caretakers and see to everyone else's needs, while often neglecting your own.  We have created an opportunity where all you have to do is hop on the bus, sit back and enjoy the ride.
Introducing the Getaway Girls
Twin sisters and co-owners, Marci Turenne Hansen and Michelle Levin started GirlTime Getaways in 2005, after a couple of years of talking about starting their own business together.  Both understand the challenge of balancing family (three children each) with career and how easy it is to let one's own needs fall last on the list. 

They pondered the idea of creating a fun way for women of all ages to get away for a short time and let someone else take care of them for a change!

With backrounds in event planning, business and customer service, GirlTime Getaways seemed like a perfect fit.  This adventure they call GirlTime Getaways has given them the opportunity to give back in some way by watching women of all ages and stages of life laugh, love and have fun.
How Does it Work?
It all starts with Marci and Michelle selecting a destination, getting out a map, and looking for fun things to do along the way.  Trips are designed to be unique and within a 300-mile radius from the point of departure.  GirlTime Getaways often stops at out-of-the-way places that you may never find on your own or places that you've wanted to stop, but didn't have the time to do so.  

From Glenville to Bemidji to Stillwater to Duluth, GirlTime Getaways has traversed the state of Minnesota and beyond, all the while stopping at fun, quaint and sometimes even educational places along the way.  Whether you are petting llamas on a farm or snow tubing for the first time in your life, you are guaranteed to enjoy the range of actvities we have planned during your GirlTime Getaway weekend.
